After an impressive rookie campaign, where he achieved a podium at the 2026 Monaco E-Prix, Felipe Drugovich embarks on a second season with the Andretti squad.

Early career

The 25-year-old from Maringá, Brazil needs little introduction, with an impressive 47 race victories and a further 71 podium finishes across his career to-date. Drugovich enjoyed a silverware-laden rise through the junior ranks, including championship titles in Euroformula Open and the FIA Formula 2 Championship.

Drugovich made his single-seater debut in 2016, competing in the ADAC Formula 4 series. After a respectable debut season, he made the move to Italian F4 - impressing the paddock with seven wins in his season with Van Amersfoort Racing.

After one-off appearances and tests in other championships, the Brazilian made the big move to FIA Formula 3 in 2019. It would be a difficult season for Drugovich, who only managed to score points on one occasion - a sixth place finish in Hungary. But many in the paddock recognised his potential, and for 2020 he signed for MP Motorsport in FIA Formula 2.

It turned out to be a brilliant move for the young racer, who quickly established himself as one of the brightest talents in the championship. A victory in his first-ever Formula 2 weekend at Spielberg would be followed by two further Sprint Race wins in Barcelona and Sakhir. Drugovich would remain in the championship for a further two seasons, eventually clinching the championship in 2022 with an incredible 265 points - 101 points ahead of Theo Pourchaire.

After graduating from the junior formulae, Drugovich balanced his commitments as a Reserve Driver for Aston Martin in Formula 1 alongside several sportscar appearances, including IMSA, ELMS and an appearance in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Formula E

As reigning Formula 2 champion, Drugovich got behind-the-wheel of Formula E machinery for the first time in 2023 at the Berlin Rookie Test. In the season that followed, the Brazilian would gain further opportunities in the GEN3, before finally getting the chance to compete in his first E-Prix - the 2025 Berlin E-Prix.

Deputising for Nyck de Vries, he scored his first Formula E points after a seventh place finish in the second race of the double-header. This caught the eye of Andretti Formula E, who signed Drugovich for the 2025/26 season.

His rookie campaign was one of highs and lows, with highlights including a brilliant maiden pole position in Shanghai and his first podium in Monaco. Despite a few setbacks - most notably a post-race infraction at the Sanya E-Prix that stripped him of a second-place finish - his strong pace secured his seat with Andretti for the 2026/27 season - the first of the GEN4
